Places to stay in Morocco

The road connecting Zagora with Erfoud (about 4-5 hours drive via the oasis towns of Alnif, Tazzarine and Nkob) enables travellers to complete the triangle of Ouarzazate, Zagora and Erfoud. Erfoud is essential if you want to see or climb the 650 ft dunes at Merzouga - they are about 45 minutes from the town and can be reached with any standard car (4 x 4 is not essential, but a guide is). Erfoud is also a mere 15 Kms from the desert market town of Rissani.
